Very bad idea for so many reasons-don't do it!

Safety hazard and nuisance to members of our community. Self serving initiative at the expense of our citizens. Before going forward, hazard mitigation plans must be made public for debate prior to any vote. Non aviation experienced officials make these decisions without all information is a recipe for disaster.

Too much noise for such a small yet populated area -- agree no mini Myrtle Beach -- would reduce the quality of Island life.

What is the benefit to the town? It does not outweigh citizens rights they were elected to protect. Can we just move on to more important issues.

I am very much opposed to this project for many reasons, but primarily for the health and safety of this community. I have previously lived in a beach community that let this type of business operated and it was extremely offensive to the bucolic nature of coastal living and quiet enjoyment.

I appreciate the desire as a small business owner to want to operate an island business, but I believe the unique aspects of this operation present safety issues that outweigh the multiple possible benefits it would bring.

This is a no-brainer - noise and safety concerns are universal. Having flown over 1700 hours in helicopters I can attest to both problems. I've suffered hearing loss and have had to execute multiple emergency landings. Luckily these were in unpopulated areas. Can't imagine the havoc spinning rotor blades would cause on a crowded beach.

I've been a resident of Carolina Beach for 20 years. We are proud of our town and beaches. As a member of Island Women, we strive to improve the quality of life for all residents and vacationers. Helicopters would DEFINITELY NOT be an asset to our family-friendly community.

Hate noise. Worried about safety of the community. Do not wish to live near an airport. Nobody does!

It would be awesome if the helicopter could do 3 or 4 tours a year but not everyday of summer, way too much noise!!!

I don't want this noise & disruption in our town, the proposed property is near my home. Keep the helicopters away!

Personally don't have a problem with it, however overwhelming opposition from many of my local friends make me weary to say the least. I've been here just over a decade and have grown to absolutely adore the way it is. I don't want to see us try to act "all grown up" by trying to be mini-myrtle. The ability for us to be a quaint beach town while still being a bustling tourist attraction in those 12 or so weeks is what makes Carolina Beach so undeniably special. I don't think that we should stray from that model. That's all I have.....

As a resident who was adversely affected by the 2015 Labor Day weekend helicopter event, I am against take off and landings on Carolina Beach except for emergency situations or military operations. I chose to buy property in a quiet neighborhood, not by an airport. Any helicopter tours or "for profit events" involving helicopters should take off and land from a location off of Carolina Beach.

This is not a plan good for our community or island. Putting a dollar before the value of our local residents is a bad choice for our island. Keep our island small, local and full of character. If we wanted Myrtle Beach we would live in SC
