What family is going to want to purchase that house and live in it knowing the stigma it carries just to take advantage of a bargain? Tear it down city of Annandale. Relieve the angst felt by those that live near it and around it. Will never stop being a circus. Every anniversary, every mention of Jacob or this man will continue to bring it back into the limelight. I really am surprised that one would think that house could ever be a home.

Burn down the house. I'm sure the house has very little value anyway, who would want to buy it and live in it? Buy it, burn it down, and turn it into something useful.

Let the healing begin! Burn it!

Demolish it or have the fire department do a training burn but first contact habitat for humanity or any local charity that deals with salvaging buildings or parts of buildings. Then have something like a public suggestion site on the web to get as many suggestions as possible to make the best and most supported decision on what to do with the property and hopefully keeping everyone happy with the end results…

My home town, i moved away however i love it like i was there today, i miss it, in fact i spent alot of time at my cousins house 4 doors down at the corner closest to the school, our town has seen some drama over the last 30 years and there is nothing we can do about most of it, but we have the chance to do something productive, what do ya do? bulldoze it and put another home there? It may sound a bit odd but i say The city buys it and put a neighborhood park right there, lets let the kids play right there showing our determination and our lack of intimidation by this scumbag, right? I mean we could doom this property by a legacy of soft, scared culturalism, or we can send his ass to prison and build a park right there where he used to live, saying.. "hey screw you dude we don't play that around here", and get just a bit of good out of it? Maybe that's not the best idea? Fellow parents what do you think? They have the recreation complex going in, lets make this a priority as well.
