Hedgehogs are not rodents, and they are very fragile!! They cannot be subject to extreme temperature changes & cold!

When setting up rules for air travel I would think the time should be taken to properly educate yourselves with regards to hedgehogs. The reasons given for not allowing hedgehogs to travel are completely unjust and not based on fact at all. Please review your decision.

Hedgehogs are not an impediment to flight procedures, nor are they disruptive/dangerous. Please be rational.

The fact that there needs to be a a petition for this is ridiculous. Hedgehogs would be perfect guests on flights as they would likely sleep the whole time and even if they were awake they seldom if ever make any noise. Not to mention the lack of smell. I would always avoid traveling with an animal, but if I had to, I would not fly with an airline that would not allow my hedgehog in the cabin.

Because hedgehogs are more likable pets in airplane cabins than chirping birds or howling cats.

Any airline or company that makes policy based on ideas pulled out of thin air (I mean, come on... could not one employee jump on Google for 30 seconds and even look a horrid wiki page which would have debunked everything) will and SHOULD lose business unless they take steps to rectify their inability to even do basic research. Amend the policy to reflect CORRECT animal information, remove the policy altogether, or remove the exceptions that also are based on ideas pulled out of thin air.

I travel a lot. Bringing my hedgehogs in the cabin, like I can do my rabbits, would be so nice! It really doesn't make sense. They don't make noise they won't make a mess so I cannot see any reasonable excuse. Dogs bark, cats can trigger allergies. Hedgehogs cannot do this.

My boyfriend is in the military, so we move around a lot and it's really frustrating not being able to bring my hedgehog with me without him being thrown around in cargo. He's smaller, quieter, and cleaner than any dog- why can't I just bring him in the cabin? It's not fair.
