The owning a hedgehog as a pet should be ok in georgia and if only 1 it. Would be impossible to breed. The temperature in georgia in the winter months would kill any outside.

This is ridiculous. We should be able to own a hedgehog. They can't survive our climate, and how many people own dangerous snakes? Legalize hedgehogs!

Hedgehogs are no more of a danger to Georgia wildlife than cats! Those of us who want to be able to have one as a pet are certainly not going to let it escape outside, and if it DID, it would have to find another hedgehog to mate with. The chances of that happening are miniscule! The law starting that hedgehogs can't be owned as pets is antiquated and not founded on logical information. Please repeal it!

I don't understand why there illegal they are nice and sweet little creatures some of them might be feisty but you can always tame them
