Some parents of pupils need educating on the speed limits - pulling away in a big 4x4 as fast as they can because they've picked up their child; not good!

Heather garth needs a lollipop lady/man for the safety of the children has the cars come around quickly and the parents dropping off their children park away.

I find it incredible that the school is without a crossing lady,I myself have witnessed oncoming traffic stopping and a car approaching from the other direction passing without any consideration for the children who are thinking it's safe because one car has stopped. Also im mystified as to why a school 500 yards further up the road has a crossing person .Obviously the same consideration should be afforded to our children who attend Heather garth .

Every Child should be safe going to and from school especially outside the school where it should be the schools duty to provide safety.

Should not need a petition to make sure children and parents are safe getting to and from schools

A car parked outside school was seriously damaged by speeding cars while children were out and about...this could have been my child!

Roads need to be made safer around schools and where there are children crossing the roads.

My son had a lucky escape whilst trying to cross the road outside the school. Things were a lot better before we lost the crossing lady.

Children's safety should be a priority. The funding was there before and should be made available agin.

Roads are busier and faster these days are more priority needs to be given to safer crossings.
