Once a heart beat is detected its alive. Dont murder your own child. I was very close ti being aborted myself. If I coukd have chosen I would have chose to live and not to get my limbs tore off and stabbed in the back if my nech and sucked out of my mommy. How about you? With the number of parents seeking adoption, and removal of stigma for out-of-wedlock parents, the only question is whether the State's DUTY to protect a beating heart and a living body inside another spirit's womb -- or whether the Womb (and the spirit-soul attached) takes precedence at all costs. Understand: the woman DOES have "seniority." She also has tenure, in terms of life. What she does NOT have is the rights of a precarious employer to "At Will Employment," where her baby is concerned. The mother never "hired" her. She was GIVEN her, as a heavenly gift. This gift the Mom -- other than feeding, loving and sustaining -- bore no part in designing nor creating. I oppose "At Will" in every form. In this case, a woman's discomfort, inconvenience and pain of delivery last nine months. I am sorry, but the sheer magnitude, complexity and UNTAPPED POTENTIAL of a human being that could live up to 90 YEARS (not less than one) takes obvious precedent over At Will or an abrupt, ungrateful, "You're Fired." Its not the mothers heartbeat ...it a human life that needs protection.

Think of all the future geniuses, innovators, inventors, artists, and more that will have a chance to exist and make this world a better place. Unborn babies are human. Denying these innocents life is cruel and inhumane.

I believe this bill should be passed because the life of a child should not be taken away by his/her mother who failed to critically think about the actions she was about to do. A woman who does not want to get pregnant has the choice to not have sex. It is not the baby's fault that his/her mother was an irresponsible being. If the baby really isn't wanted, there are various other options other than ultimately ending his/her life. People fail to realize that that baby could brighten up the life of a family who isn't able to have kids. Although I must agree with others arguing that cases of pregnancy resulting from rape or incest or that places the mother's life at risk should have the right to abort, these cases are rare and the majority of the time abortions are coming from people who simply hope to become murders for no apparent reason. With being said I hereby sign this petition to pass the Heartbeat Bill.
