Everyone should be treated the same no matter if they are old mentally liked or just a healthy person once the family feels they have gone missing or that something isn't right

My condolences for you and your family, I know this isn't easy at all. I wish the NYPD world have done a better job! He was a young man know by manny ppl and all the families from this neighborhood were very concerned about his whereabouts.

Healthy or not a human is a human and if family report them as missing and state there are low chances of this person being away from home by own will, more attention should be payed and not prolongue the wait time, an objective mother knows her kids, and will

I was born and raised in newyork city and live now in n.j. but i do agree with judith lopez 100 % i have 3 boys around anthonys age and i suffer as well thw minute they walk out my house to enjoy a night out with their friends and i do expect that if my kids happened to go threw anything as well as others we as parents and as humans want an anwser and we want everyone to be treated the same no matter what race color ethnic or anything in the world we all the same and yes we want justice for anthony urena...we are with judith lopez.

I know how awful you must feel, but no matter what, unless it is a child under 10 years of age the law says we have to wait 48-72 hours before reporting a missing person's report. When my daughter was 12 years old she went missing and I went to file a missing person's report and the dumb asses told me that I had to wait 72 hours before filing a report...unless it is one of their own, they don't care...

Anthony's family is suffering from this incredible loss. It is inconceivable to me the way they were treated and the lack of help they received from law enforcement officials. Anthony's life was valuable and his family deserved and should have had a right to receive the assistance they desperately needed. It is unfortunate that it sometimes takes a tragedy for change to come about. Please don't let his passing be in vain. Also, please don't let another parent/family suffer through this same unfair treatment, if they are faced with finding their missing child.

It's very unfair that they want to declare this case as an "accident". I'm pretty sure he didn't throw himself in the water. They just don't want to invest their time and money on a Hispanic lower class young man and that's the sad country we live in. I bet if it was a wealthy white mans son things would've been different, it's disgusts me.
