As a mother of 3, I sympathize with you and for the loss of your child. No parent should ever have to bury their child. No parent of a missing child should have to go thru the nonsense that NYPD put you through. Like you said, you knew your son and knew that he was in danger. Just because he was a healthy young man of sound mind does not mean that he was immune to the dangers of the street. I hope and pray that you find the necessary answers about what exactly happen to your angel. It may not bring him back but you can at least have closure. I continue to pray for you and your family. May your angel sleep in eternal peace.

As a mother, I am appalled at this ridiculous law. We know our kids! We know when they're acting out or when they're really in trouble! It's time these young men and women get the crucial attention they deserve!

I followed this story and its heart breaking to know that the family had to actually do their own investigation to convince the police to be active. Unbelievable..
