The name is a disgrace. My teaching isn't ill or diseased so it doesn't need a "health check".

More dialogue is required between staff and management. As us what we need rather than impose your idea of 'support'. We are all doing the best we can.

Observation of a live online session is NOT reflective of the engagement and communication that is taking place outside of live lessons, and live online lessons are NOT blended learning. The college needs to be more clear about what actual support they are offering and the mechanisms in place for staff to ask for support, rather than enforcing health checks as "support".

Management can explore other avenues such as peer observation instead of health check; especially at this time of crisis.

Health check is not the method that should be used to investigate why student's are unsatisfied with the teaching.

Forcing support on someone is an aggressive act and in no way a supportive act. If I say thanks but no thanks and my NO is not taken as my answer then that person has overstepped a line and as far as I am concerned is on very shaky ground ethically and morally

This does not feel like a supportive measure. The greatest help comes from collaboration with my immediate colleagues who are experiencing the same challenges and understand the daily experience of teaching and assessing online.

This is not the time for such a policy.

Why is it that staff who have already had observations have not had feedback in the specified time 5 to 7 days after the observation in contradiction of it's own observation policy. If the current procedure is not being carried out correctly why should we have any confidence that these healthchecks will be carried out correctly. Until there's some mutual respect from the management to the staff then there will be little in return

No health checks! Give us feedback from our observations before any more observations!

"Health checks" are not the way to support teachers. They will simply add to our stress. Real support would include a space for us to work together on sharing best practice for online lessons
