Head Start to remain under leadership of Harris County Department of Education

My daughter is apart of the Early Head Start Program. Since her very 1st day attending, I have seen improvement. She is happy here with her teachers and the Administration family as well.

I believe that Head Start Helps Develop Our Children the Future Leaders of Tomorrow Throughout Harris County and Our Children would Suffer Greatly Without this Program, So Please keep this Program Open and Our Children's Future Promising in Harris County

As a former teacher I know first hand of how important it is for low income kids to come to school with a jump start please this program is very important

I support all of Headstart Programs.

Please help to save this program. Children and families need this program. HCDE Headstart has been servicing the East side and surrounding areas for well over 17 years.

I'm signing this petition to urge HCDE to stop the motion to remove the program from under HDCE.

As a grandmother with children currently enrolled in HCDE Head Start. As I see first hand all of the young children learning, it is so important for HCDE to continue to provide education to our children. HCDE has prepared my grandchildren for the next level of education. This program provides a sound foundation for all children to learn and to be ready for public school. Please continue to allow HCDE to continue striving to meet children's needs and expectations of their future.

I hope the Headstart program stays under Harris County.

Having lived and trained in Houston in the past, I am confident that the best way to continue to serve the most needy children, Head Start must remain under the leadership of Harris County Department of Education. This leadership's dedication to serve is remarkable and has already proven its worth by striving with the children to prepare them to become future productive citizens. So changing the leadership will harm the program and the children.

I would hate to see the Headstart program go away it really helped my Children an I know it would be very helpful for my Grand kids as well as all children .

I want the headstart program to stay under Harris County.

All services provided all needed and families depend on these services.

Programs like head start help give our next generation to have the tools to make a difference.

HCDE Head Start center staff are dedicated to children and families.
