UPDATE: the university leadership is evaluating the topic. We won't be needing the signatures after all, but thanks to all those that participated! Hopefully something will come out of this...

In July, international students of the HBS MBA class of 2019 who are working in the USA will very likely have to either quit their jobs or transfer to an office abroad where available, given the high difficulty in getting an H1B visa and remain working in the USA.

We're gathering signatures from the HBS community to support a request to HBS leadership to recategorize the MBA with the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), allowing international students of the class of 2019 to apply for the STEM OPT extension (https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/stem-opt-extension-overview). Berkeley has done this with their MBA in the last month.

Thanks!
