Hazel was rightfully very proud of her role in creation of the the Child Development Center. She had to overcome some stiff resistance to the idea, and displayed her usual firm and methodical advocacy. It would be a most fitting tribute to her that it bear her name.

Hazel was devoted to expanding opportunity for all Delta College students, and she combined her devotion with energy, vision, and her own peculiar brand of warmth and charm. She was not only widely admired on campus and in the community. She inspired deep affection. Please support adding Hazel Hill's name to the Child Development Center to honor this remarkable woman.

The CDC was Hazels baby! I witnessed the commitment and energy she put into seeing it to fruition and supporting it throughout her service at Delta. She has supported so many organizations, causes and individuals and has made a true difference in the lives of many and in the existence of the college in the community! It is only fitting to rename the CDC as the Hazel Hill Child Development Center!
