Hazel worked so hard for the things she believed in. The Child Development Center was one of those things. I am so honored to have worked with her for 12 years and maintained a great friendship since then. I will write a letter of support as well as signing this petition. It will be wonderful to honor Hazel's hard work, dedication, and memory in this manner!

It is a great way to honor Hazel Hill. I didn't had the opportunity to meet her, but I know that she meant a lot to our Interior Design program.

Hazel Hill was a doer. The CDC should be renamed to honor her.

Dr. Hazel Hill was an amazing advocate not only for education, but also for animals. I am happy to support her efforts and believe that her legacy will live through all of the many lives she has toucher.

Hazel was a beacon of light, leadership and action in our community and on a deeply personal level for so many. Although never a mother herself, she took it upon herself to nurture the future by empowering parents and caregivers to better themselves with education. She was mother to many: forever giving; inspiring; and always investing herself and even personal resources to help others who showed they cared. It would honor Hazel and her family and her dear husband, Jim, to name the center after her. It would ease the grief of so many who struggle now to make sense of life without their mentor, friend, second mother present to encourage them along. It would make Hazel's life everlasting.
