I was sad to hear about about the death of my friend Dr Hazel Hill. I had the pleasure of working with her for 11years as PR Manager for FRRC where she served as a member of our board. I found her to be such a classy lady who could be very funny and who had an amazing ability to help you put any situation in its proper perspective. RIP Ms Lady.

My heart fell in sorrow when I heard this very sad news of Hazel Hill's passing. I took a sewing class from her many many years ago, but my memories of her are still vivid. Many blessings to a lovely, devoted lady.

Hazel was a dynamite person and a genuine human being. Naming the center for her would be an appropriate and excellent action to honor the memory of Hazel Hill.

Hazel Hill was not only my supervisor but my mentor, motivator and angel. I came from challenging upbringing and my future was at risk due to my environment. Hazel was my angel. Passionate about helping people and Delta College was blessed with an employee that gave Delta brand that no other woman could have give. She more than worthy and deserving of having CDC named after her.

Hazel was a remarkable woman, so passionate, and caring! She gave 110% to Delta College and was committed to it's success within the community! Naming the CDC after her is not only deserving and fitting, but would be a great way for the District to honor Hazel, one of Delta College's greatest leaders!

I fully endorse renaming the Child Development Center at Delta College to the Hazel Hill Child Development Center. I had the pleasure of working with Hazel at Delta when I started here almost 20 years ago up until her retirement. As noted by many others, during her many years at Delta, Hazel worked tirelessly and passionately to serve students and the campus community. Though her passing represents a great loss for many, her good works will resonate long in to the future. Renaming the center would serve as lasting memorial to a deserving individual.
