Grew up with this park. Started playing roller hockey there when that was a cool thing to do ad slated there afterwards. It's a beautiful place that needs effort for sure. Any place that can calm you and push you as an individual at the same time to release stress and allow the is aid era on to grow is worth maintaining! Get it done so I can come back and skate someday! I support the deck out of this idea proposal

The HRC and Hays skateboarders did a wonderful Job if creating Hays' first park. It's time for a renewal. Lets keep this park going!

I have been to skateparks in 4 countries, over 10 states, and the Hays skatepark is the worst by far. Please update it!

It will save the city money having substantially less grass to water, and reduce skateboarding in other community areas where it may not be welcome. Sounds fair, given all the money the city pumps into venues for other sports. Finally, it will bring people to Hays and be good for the economy.

With Hays growing I think the skate park is a wonderful place where kids can go and do what they love. In order to do this improvements should be made in order to bring competitions to the area and the like.
