The Haymaker Board is now on a fast track pace to institute a new rental restriction amendment. I am forming this petition to invite all Haymaker homeowners who have concerns about a new rental restriction amendment to join with me in opposition of this effort. Our CC&R’s require a 60% vote of homeowners to pass any amendment to the CC&R’s. Currently 43% of owners are renting their property. It makes no sense that owners who are currently renting their property would vote against their own interests voting to give a discriminating Board the authority to impose fines that amount to hundreds of dollars a month, impose other penalties, and take other aggressive action against homeowners for renting their property. Homeowners that are not currently renting their property should also consider protecting their rights to rent if you desire. Why would you relinquish your property rights to a Board of Directors that will not have your best and immediate interests in mind when or if you seek rental approval? I can assure you THEY WILL NOT!
