This will mean the world to us as our son was stillborn at 36+1 and we have nothing to let us know he matters. Our babies matter no matter what

Imagine all the grief. Why not?

For all the mothers who have given birth to a stillborn child.

To have a mom to go through their pregnancy and labor with all emotion. Then make them feel like their child didn’t matter because it didn’t get to take its first breathe. IT MATTERS. It may just be a piece of paper to you, but it is ALL to that mom.

Your work is so wonderful and truly making a difference, you should be incredibly proud! Wish you every success and all the best!

My daughter was stillborn at 23 weeks in 2014 I did not receive a birth certificate for her even though I had to go through 12 hr of being induced to give birth to her. A birth certificate would mean the world to me as there are some many days it's like she never existed in this world and even though it's a piece of paper it would be proof that she was here even if only for a short while.

My son was still born on 1-31-17...we did not receive any kind of certificate to acknowledge our sons existence either it is so very hard to go through what we have been through and it makes it even worse when our babies aren't acknowledged ..there's very little support around here for dealing with the loss of our baby..

I went into labor and birthed my son just like any other woman who has a child. The only difference is my son didn't go home with me and I got a yellow piece of paper saying that I had a preterm delivery. No baby name, no weight, no aknowledgement of my son being born. I sign this in memory of him and the other babies born still.

All children born with or without life in their little bodies deserve the acknowledgement of being born! They deserve their place in time.

Please consider passing this. It will mean a lot to families of stillborn children because it will validate their child's existence. Thank you.

Stillborn children are still people so they should get a birth certificate. It would mean a lot to their families.
