Background (Preamble): The crosswalk at 3111 Hayden Rd. has long been a safety concern for local residents and members of Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club. As a result of numerous complaints and requests for action the City of Columbus has studied the crosswalk and determined that it meets certain criteria for installation of a pedestrian beacon (Service Request #904146609) however; to date no action has been taken. For the sake of all local residents and members of Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club, we ask for your support. Petition: We the undersigned request that the City of Columbus, Department of Public Service, Transportation Division take immediate action and install a pedestrian activated red light at 3111 Hayden Rd.
