Ive lived on the Island for 20 years. Target does not suffice for a grocery store. While it works in a pinch, we need gourmet foods and coffee. Bring Zupans back! New Seasons! Many retired folks on the island need a place to go. You would probably get daily purchases from those neighbors.

When Safeway closed here on the island, it decreased our ability to enjoy the ambiance of our island home. We were better off with a local grocery for easy access. Help us restore that way of life, please.

I would definitely go to a local grocery store, as I don't want to get on I-5 if I don't have to.

Very saddened when Safeway left!! This community NEEDS access to a grocery store without having to leave the island.
I live just in the other side of the I-5 bridge and come to the island for shopping. We have rental properties ON the island. So we would use a grocery here, and so would our renters!
