I have neighbors that are elderly and not having a grocery store close by has greatly impacted their quality of life as well as my own household that decided to go without a car due to the rise in cost of living here in Portland.

We desperately need a good grocery store besides Target. With all of the homes, condos, houseboats, I-5 traffic, and water activity, it is crazy that we don't have a store.

I live in the Riverwalk condos and a grocery store will be so beneficial to us. Safeway was perfect. But we could use another one. Thank you!

We need a grocery store on Hayden Island. When I was looking for a place to live, Safeway was opened and I was so happy that everything I needed would be on the island. By the time I signed papers to buy my place, it had shut down! Please, please bring a grocery store on our island. Thank you.

grocery store certainly needed -- will cut down on driving/cars having to go to Vancouver or N Pdx to find the nearest grocery experience
