Cluster 1 Haycock parents support the following and we ask that the School Board support the following as well:

  • Janie Strauss’ proposal to open a Cluster 2 Lemon Road AAP Center with all rising 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade AAP Center eligible students from Cluster 2 (Lemon Road, Westgate and Shrevewood), and with all rising 6th grade students remaining at their current Haycock AAP Center for the 2013-2014.

Cluster 1 Haycock parents adamantly oppose the following:

  • Moving ALL rising Haycock 5th graders (AAP and non-AAP) to Lemon Road ES for school years 2013 and 2014.
  • Moving ALL rising 4th and 5th grade Haycock AAP Center students to Lemon Road ES for school years 2013 and 2014

We are approaching the 500 signature mark and I need you to push this link to three other families right now. The school board is watching these totals and we need to show them our collective resolve before they finalize their decision for our children.

My kids deserve stability and we are nearing one hundred signatures to prove the district must listen. Please take a moment to forward this link to another family in our cluster who needs to be informed.

THIS IS ABSURD. Why would you disrupt the 5th graders like this? Keep them at Haycock where they belong.

The Lemon Road plan is a disaster for our families. We moved here for this school cluster and expect the board to honor that.

So frustrated with these constant changes. My rising 5th grader should be at Haycock. Not okay.

Janie Strauss has the right idea. Lets get the Cluster 2 center open and stop shuffling kids around like pieces on a board.

Seriously? Moving 4th and 5th graders is just going to create chaos. Leave our kids alone.

My kids have enough stress already. Keeping them in their current school is the only thing that makes sense. Please listen to us.
