HawthoRNe, season 2, this summer was one of the best shows on television. It was actually the only show, I watched without fail. HawthoRNe is a great show, that gives the world, a bit more of a understanding of the roles of a registered nurse within the hospital. Don't get me wrong, Grey's Anatomy is a great show also, but it truly isn't realistic as to what happens in a hospital. Nurses in Grey's Anatomy are often nonexistent. In the real world, Nurses are usually the ones, who are with the patient 24-7, given care and saving lives. The doctors are the ones, who come to the floor, when the nurse has paged them several times to alert them of an emergency, and to get their butts on the floor, STAT. This unfortunately happens all to frequent. No disrespect to Doctors, they are amazing people also. HawthoRNe, just gives the viewer an alternative view of what happens in the Emergency department as well as on the floors of most American hospitals. It's a great show, please consider it for a 3rd and 4th season.
