I love mountain biking in the hawes area and see a need for extra parking to insure safety along the 87.

These parking lots are badly needed for the safety or bike riders, hikers, and drivers alike. More spots being available on the other side of the highway would benefit those using the Hawes Trail System and Mesa city residents.

The hawes trail systems are amazing. More parking in the area would help prevent build up in the side of the roads, that will not not stop unless there is parking and everyone can enjoy our beautiful desert

As a local Mesa resident, I’d LOVE to have a parking option which doesn’t require me and my family to cross the busy highway to access Hawes. The vehicles driving on that road often travel far too fast, frequently with boats or horses in tow, for it to be safe for pedestrians to be crossing regularly.

Additional, purpose built parking for Hawes trail access is necessary to maintain safety for people using the trail system as well as road cyclists and motorists on Usery Pass road.
