I’ve been to the competition and it’s totally off of Favoritism! Please get rid of these bogus judges!!! Some of these girls who work so hard on their performances don’t get enough recognition!

My time spent as a KHS jv cheerleader last school year i’ve witnessed the unfair judging at competitions. Not only unfair judgement against KHS but against alot of other talented schools that compete. It’s really not fair and it should change because these teams should be judged by how much effort and talent they put on the mats.

Hearing the results today broke and shattered my heart to a million pieces. Especially doing a sport you love, you would not enjoy hearing the placement you and your team got based on how hard we bust our butts off everyday! I am one of many who think the judging system we have is unfair and the system is all about favoritism. This needs to change ASAP!

In my opinion, many sports come with favoritism. In cheerleading, the judges prove this everytime competition season approaches. Many cheerleading teams dedicate their time, patience, and strength to perform something great. Due to the judges FAVORTISM, not many teams reach their goals even after all of their hard work. Through my four years of high school, I’ve seen many incidents where judges give a high score to an underserving team. Every person should be given an equal, and FAIR chance to when putting themselves out there. As a past captain, it is extremely disappointing that my team, Campbell High School did not qualify, when their performance met the requirements. Things need to change, and it starts with hearing our voices. Thank you.

Judge us according to the talent and skills and not out of favoritism !! If your going to favoritism or hate on other teams you shouldn’t be a judge .

I was very disappointed (Blown Away) to experience the unfair judging displayed at today's cheer competition. The kids worked so hard, and to be judged the way they were is defintely not right. Something defintely needs to be done!

In all honesty, the judging at Hawaii cheer competitions have ALWAYS been rigged since the day I could remember! It’s unfair to teams who have the talent and the capability to score the higest , and they just get cheated of what they DESERVE because the judges play favorites. It’s sad that “judges” can’t even do their job right. THEY LITTLE HAVE ONE JOB and they can’t even do that. Regardless of how I feel, if you look at score sheets and what teams routines and judge them yourself, you’ll see what I’m speaking is FACTS.

Yes every cheer team works just as hard as one another to be were they are right now, and yes we all are striving for the same goal. It’s just hard to strive when unfair judging is in play. Judging unfairly is just not okay, especially when those cheerleaders have put out an amazing routine. I’m no judge but all I know is more than enough people has recognized the favored teams and many people all agreed that Campbell was robbed from advancing further into the OIAs.

High school teams get wrongfully scored because of favoritism. This is wrong and shouldn’t be allowed ever.

If we’re being honest, the judging for the past couple of years have been very questionable. It is unfair to the sport and the cheerleaders who work their asses off. These teams deserve honesty & fairness, not biased & favortized judging. Give credit where credit is due, honest scoring & new faces are much needed.
