This petition is about respect for those that came before. Raven was a pivotal band of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal from England. Metallica and especially, Lars followed them. Prior to the release of Kill Em All, Megaforce had Raven take Metallica on the road on their first real tour to show them the ropes. Raven were on their tour for their massive release on Megaforce called All for One. The the tour was called the Kill Em All/All For One in 1983. The two bands never played together again until 2014 when Metallica asked them to open in Brazil. All the members of Raven live in the USA and have for many years, one member lives very close to the Baltimore area.
This would be a amazing show on the start of the Metallica Worldwired tour to have Raven as a guest opener for the Ravens Stadium show. Fitting really, in name, as well as Raven's style of Athletic Rock playing inside a football stadium. So let's all thank these godfathers of thrash with a signature to get Lars, James, Kirk and Robert to give these fellas the gig.

I greatly enjoy both Raven and Metallica. It would be huge to see them play together in Baltimore. I've heard the tale of the Kill Em All For One tour, Seeing this US recreation would be stunning!
Raven should be Mettalica's first choice to tour with them. Their new album Exterminator is a clear indication that Raven still kicks ass and has a lot of fuel left in the tank! They so deserve an opening slot for Metallica.
Not only should they open for Metallica in Baltimore, they should be part of the entire tour! No one is more deserving than RAVEN. Not only are they friends of mine, I am a huge fan from day one when I purchased a copy of CRASH, BANG, WALLOP that I first heard at a friends house! METALLICA needs to do the right thing and give back to the band that gave first!
It was not at the Sandbar, The first night was at The Seagull Inn (Essex), the next night was at Coast to Coast (Catonsville) Maryland. I was at both. That was the first time I met them.
Shouldn't Metallica be opening for Raven, as in 83? I was lucky enough to see that tour and this show would be amazing
Metallica are probably terrified of being BLOWN OFF THE STAGE by the TRUE originators of thrash. RAVEN runs circles around anyone, Metallica I DARE you to have Raven play with you in the US...
Please include Raven on the Metallica your stop in Baltimore and additional cities as well ... do this immediately!

It is only fitting that Raven, who brought some kids from San Francisco to open for them at the SeaGull Inn in 1983, to play with them in Baltimore !
