Talk show host Wendy Williams, who has no knowledge of Aaliyah or her career, and she also has no experience in production and has based this movie off of pure gossip and rumors.
This film must be pulled, due to poor casting and poor production.
Aaliyah deserves to be immortalized in a official motion picture in theaters. For all fans to see and to be assured that Aaliyah's family & fans will be proud of a new film that will properly preserve her legacy.

I never thought the support for this would grow this fast and honestly just seeing so many people agree that she deserves better is overwhelming. It is clear we all know that the real story is still waiting to be told properly by the people who actually loved her.

This movie was based on tabloids & rumors.it dis nothing to honor the legacy of Aaliyah. If you are some one who did not know this talented woman's work seeing this movie does you a great in justice.
Not only was this movie made against the wishes of Aaliyah's family but it was an insult to her, them, her fans, and her legacy. The movie was more focused on her love life than her actual music career just as I was afriad it would be. Aaliyah deserves way better than this train wreck of a movie, lifetime & Wendy Williams should be ashamed of themselves for even airing that bs.

This movie was absolutely disrespectful. Aaliyah would problaby turn in her grave watching it. Wondering how was Wendy Williams (Producer) and others able to put the movie together with no accurate details? Aaliyah's family never approved of the making of the movie in the first place. I FELT unfulfilled watching this movie...I didn't get a sense of who she was. the girl who played her did a good job as far as acting. But I didn't like it at all

Wendy Williams and the Lifetime network owe Aaliyah's family & fans an apology. The movie was really not presented the way you'd think the late singer would've been presented. Lifetime please stop producing these cheap biopics.
