Have Goodness Me! accept medical exemptions

Good news! Goodness Me has 'clarified' their stand and said that they are more than happy to accept exemptions!!

Since I am exempt and t=rying to eat better, your policy makes this impossibl3e. My dollars will be spent elsewhere until you change your draconian policy.

What your company is going against our Charter of Rights.

How ironic that you stand with the Bylaw, yet choose to negate the exemptions stated in the Bylaw wherein you selective chose what parts fits your needs. This is outright ableism and highly dispecable of your organization for human rights and democracy!

They should and need to be honoring health exemptions. Shame on them!!

Add them to the list for The Line's legal team to file against.

My family spends thousands of dollars in our local store in Brantford and I will hate to have to drive out of town to Ancaster to Healthy Planet in order to shop at a store that respects the law and our rights under the Charter of Human Rights. This is discrimination no less than if you were to say my son with Down Syndrome is unwelcome in your store because of his disability, which you are effectively saying because he cannot wear a mask. He has a disability that is accepted everywhere except at the HEALTH store of which we have been loyal customers. Please reconsider this ill-advised decision. If you want more information on your rights as a business to not be threatened and intimidated by the bylaw officers we would be happy to get you information from Mr. Rocco Galati the constitutional lawyer who is suing the government for all these unconstitutional measures. I spend about $400 a month in the store in Burlington and if they want to take away my right to a medical mask exemption, then I will not be spending my money there.

Don't discriminate against medical exemptions! Everyone should be allowed to shop anywhere.

I had started shopping at your stores again because I felt safe to with my exemption. Now you have swung way the other way. Once again, Goodness Me has veered away from their originating principles and standards.

Accommodating the few clients who complained about mask free customers (allowed under the bylaw!) while at the same time denying entry to an even greater number of exempt, loyal clients makes no sense. There is no pandemic—the whole Covid thing has been at best mishandled. Doctors and scientists around the world are increasingly speaking out addressing this issue but the mainstream media won’t show that. Tyrannical laws need to be exposed for what they are. Why is Goodness Me not standing up to government coercion?

Mask exemptions should not make me have to stop shopping in your store

Refusing entry to anyone with a disability is unlawful! Human rights laws apply to all businesses.

Honor freedom of choice.

This is discrimination to people with a disability.

Please do not discriminate against your most vulnerable customers who cannot wear masks due to conditions. Distancing in the store is more than enough to ensure no transmission. Masks are only intended for places where distancing is not possible. Goodness me stores are large enough and never that packed. Please apply common sense and follow the laws as set out with exemptions at both provincial and municipal level.
