His consistency is unfailing. He is highly respected by his peers. Never a hit of a scandal. Why hasn’t he received the Kennedy center honors.

George strait paved the way for others who have already gotten this award so it is way past due for him to receive it. There's a reason he's the king of country music so it's time to honor the king.

First, it’s just sad that there is a petition for George Strait. One, he is the king of Country Music. There are only two other kings of music. George is the only king that wears a cowboy hat. He has shown through his life that he serves from the army to his fans. He has alway been the same man. One of honor and loyalty. It’s really sad because colleges and great minds should be studying how a man like George Strait became and done what he has. He did not use marketing or any kind of tricks. He just chose the best music and sang them how people wanted to hear them. We can talk about all his accolades and his accomplishments. At the end of the day he did what he does best. Stand on a stage and sing the best country songs and smile. So if he never receives this honor just know he is better than anyone y’all have picked.
