I live on Township Road 393, between the town and VCA. I frequently use the road at night to walk our dog or run and fear the increase in night time traffic could put us at risk for an accident.
I also agree with the concerns about dust control as our house is full of road dust in the summer, even without the trucks hauling, and when the hauling takes place it's even worse.
I want KPCL to uphold their agreement to do more than adequate repair and dust control. Our health depends on it.

Don't understand why they can't use highway 305 for the night hauling. I would wait another year to have this project complete than have truck noice and dust 24/7.

This road should be paved this year at no cost to Osler. The construction company KPCL should repave. Everyone uses this road for access.

24/7??? This is our home! Our community uses this road in the evenings to walk our children and our dogs. Anyone from this company want to live beside a road being trvalled 24/7 by trucks??

More needs to be done to control the speed and dust. Increasing the window to haul down 393 will only exacerbate an already out of control problem. We want to see the project finished safely and quickly but we shouldn't have to sacrifice our ability to live in, and use our yards and homes to make it happen. I would like to see a written commitment to each of the issues mentioned in the petition.

The dust and noise prevent us from being able to so much as open windows during the summer months. This is only made worse by the consistent speeding which increases both. I would like to more controls in place and a detailed plan on the repairs that are to be made to the road.

The dust and speed on this road makes it harder to enjoy our backyard. Hopefully KPCL will fix things up as they promised!

The road is in desperate need of repair, the pot holes are unavoidable. When heavy trucks hitting the potholes this would cause additional noise and dust.

If we are to give up the use of our backyards and opening windows I hope the involved parties can compensate us with a repaired/repaved road at the end of it all.

Weeks of coughing, sneezing, and a sore throat due to the dust from this road. I hope that we can come to an agreement that works for all involved.

Myself and another resident spoke directly to a female supervisor last year about speed and the radar being far west of VCA and were assured it would be relocated properly but never was. The speed and dust are extreme!
