Hastings Sunrise has been Hastings Sunrise since the 1920's. It's history, there is a mural on the East side of Nanaimo, and the South side of Hastings, of Hastings Sunrise. I am someone who has lived in Hastings Sunrise my entire life, my parents entire life. To me it will always be Hastings Sunrise, but it needs to be changed back to Hastings Sunrise, NO MORE EAST VILLAGE!!
