We the undersigned would like Hastings Borough Council (HBC)to take a lead on further developing the Falaise Skate Park Site to ensure that phase two of the development is brought to a speedy completion. The phase one skate bowl has generated a massive interest amongst the youth of Hastings and has attracted both skateboarders and cyclists as well as users of the latest craze on scooters. This current facility is not practical or fit for purpose for all of these users and is in urgent need to be extended onto the wasted unused space that adjoins. We want to see that HBC listen to what the youth of Hastings are asking for and that they are people of action, we want to see the wasted space turned into an area that can be used for urban skating/biking/scooter riding, made up of a smooth concrete area with obstacles such as street furniture and steps, and a service area with running water. We want a safe environment created for us to meet and develop our skills that does not encroach on any of the towns businesses or cause any accidental damage. We DO NOT want to be a nuisance in this town we just want the support of our council in providing a facility fit for purpose that will attract outside interest to the town and its economy
