This petition is for the families in Harvest Green who are fighting for a safer and better designed playground. We realize this is a new development and it takes times to come together. However, the concerns are growing and urgent. What we currently have is a hazardous, poorly designed, and uninviting space. Whether you live here now or you're planning to move in soon, the main playground is not inclusive of all ages and abilities. It is dangerous for even the oldest children. It is also lacking in capacity for the amount of children that already live in the community, not including future residents. Our central community area - where we all meet to enjoy and grow life together - has some major opportunities as it lacks in safety, functionality and design.

What we will be fighting for:

- safer play structure (whether new or reconfigured)

- a main play area inclusive of all ages

- better flooring of the play area

- more swings (including baby swings)

- better flooring to the splash pad area

- play area design that matches the farmhouse theme

- better seating around the park

- shade for the brutal summer months (preferably over the play areas)

- better designed functional spaces (other than soccer fields)
