A Hartz flea collar nearly killed one of my cats when it ate through her fur and down to her skin. Got her to the vet ASAP and that vet said, do not use Hartz!

Do not put pesticides on your pets. There are natural remedies to use that work!!!

I had 2 cats,one died and one thankfully recovered,after using hartz flea drops. Stop making this product!

I had a siamese named seffie .who I put hertz flea meds on him with in twoday's he couldn't hardly breathe or stand up . .vet told me to put him down. He was only 10 months old an the sweetest cat .I have two girls cats I would never use flea meds on them every again ..My cats are indoor cats but my mom has a for she takes out side an I was worried my cats would get fleas .after seffie died .I never use any thing on my two girls .seffie died a horroable death .couldn't stand up or hardly could breathe .vet said only thing I could do for him was to put him down .that the hardest thing to do is hold your cat an put him down .I found seffie one day old an feed him an cleaned him an he was a very sweet cat .then I have him a bath an put hartz on him an next day he couldn't stand up an my cinderella never left his side for one week .vet thought he had the flu gave him meds then took needles in his lungs to try an get fluid out but there wasnt any .then told he couldn't be saved .to no I did this to him by using your product.I never put it on cinderella thank God every day .she doesn't like baths or flea meds .so I didn't use any on her .nowi never out any thing on my cats .my mom has a dog that gos out side an my girl just has to deal with fleas if she would get any .hope people realize don't out any hartz on your cat .still crying over my little not .he pass away in feb, 2016 had him just a short 10 months but loved him .

My boyfriend has 5 rescues. When he got them they had fleas so of course to save some money he bought the Hartz. We gave each a dose of the Hartz, then I began reading online all the deaths that were tributed this flea prevention. Immediately we washed each kitty & none of the kitties were hurt. They were all over 1 yr of age. This product should be discontinued & not sold!!

I lost my sweet Riley in 2008 due to the Hartz flea treatment I applied. Put it on him and the next evening when I came home he was dead.

My two cats went into liver failure after using the topical flea treatment. I contacted the company & was told to "prove it." I see they haven't improved in the years since.

This product killed my beautiful baby willow. She was over 5 lbs & this product stated 5 lbs and over! Shortly after I put it on her she had a really bad seizure, my son & I rushed her to the animal hospital @ 9:00 pm was there within 15 minutes & they said she was so bad that she really wasn’t their ! Like almost dead! They tried to make her better and they were with her all night. I went home & received a call at 3:00 am telling me how very sorry they were, they tried but she was too bad they said she vomited & let out her last cry & then her heart stopped! This was 2 years ago & I can not get over losing her & I sometimes blame myself for putting this flea med on her! I was only trying to help her! But I didn’t! It was worse. I wish I never stopped @ the store & picked that up that day but I figured it was safe to use why would I have to question a product by Hartz & is on the market! Now I know !& I don’t want to see any other people lose their fur babies!! It’s not right!

Remove it from shelves, too many animals are dying. Are you all trying to stop pet population by keeping these products on the shelves. It will be known around the world to stop buying these products. It's horrible and you people don't care, you all are horrible for not taking these products off the shelves.
