I'm HBS and this is how I've always understood myself. It's simply wicked and evil how the modern "transgender" umbrella has hijacked our medical condition and terms for their own agenda.

The term "transgender" is a massive hoax. It's astounding how many people are duped by a delusion that obscures the truth of a life threatening condition that has been researched for decades.

HBS has a medical (biological) interpretation as a occurence that happens during the ealy stages of pregnancy unlike GID/Trans which is classified as a mental disorder and is a mental and social delusion. Harry Benjamin Syndrome is an intersexual condition. To put it in another way, to to argue that HBS is primarily psychological or social in origin as GID/Trans is ontologically unsound, and not in accordance with scientific method.

More people need to see this and the book. I'm tired of being lumped in with trans people and their made up identities.

Unfortunately transgender political agenda is a serious setback for people with the original syndrome. Hopefully more people become aware of this ideological political trap.

I am a man, not a transsexual. I am not an animal. Transsexuals are animals. I am a human being. Transsexuality is not possible in humans. No human can change their sex.

I completely agree, the term transgender is insulting for us.

This has been misunderstood for too long, and the recognition of HBS as a congenital intersex condition has been a long time coming, but ultimately inevitable, because science always pursues the truth, and the data on this subject reflect that truth- that HBS is a genuine, inborn intersex condition. I have HBS, and I do not feel "trans" anything. And HBS health care should be mandatory for health care providers to treat, and for health insurance companies to cover financially. Calling this biological condition a lifestyle choice or a gender variance feeling, and therefore its treatment an "elective procedure" is disgraceful, and causes untold suffering for too many individuals. The term transgender is insulting for us. I fully endorse this petition. The book is wondefully written and helpful too.

Indisputable, SHB is not transgenderism, it is an intersex condition.

I currently attend a conservative Christian college, and I am all for this because the people around me are having such a hard time reconciling me with our beliefs because they don't see it as a biological condition, which puts me in hot water.

Well it doesn't take that much to understand that HBS is opposed to transgender. Any DSD is opposed to gender variance ideology and politics. Thank you for posting such an insightful ebook on the matter. I hope you guys raise your voice and achieve the visibility you truly deserve.

I fully support this petition. It is time to make it clear that transgender is just the opposite to Harry Benjamin Syndrome. It makes no sense to me to have opposite things pretending to be the same thing!

Transgender and HBS are two whole different things.

Dang, sent too soon. :( Sorry for the typos midway. Can't edit, so here's the fix: - Can't stand how the trans community always hijacking information and terms from the intersex community, just to further their own crazy agendas and ideals.

Ultra useful information with dedication and research put into this petition. Can't stand how the trans community always hijacking information and terms from intersex community, just to furthe. Sabotaging our chances of getting proper research done for us because we're constantly lumped with them, as if we are truly the same. We're not.. I truly hope this takes off. You stay doing all you can for HBS people's recognition.
