i am a FELON now because I was charged with a felony DOP for doing GRAFFITI... Give these kids a legal wall so they can safely express themselves and not wind up like me with their rights to bear arms and vote stripped from them.

I'd be more likely to sign if the twats that came round to my place in Harrogate last night with the petition, (which we'd have been more than happy to support) didn't then deface our sign on the way out. Tagging (ALCOMIST?) on wall round the back is one thing but going to work on an expensive sign for a local independent place isn't going to endear you to anyone. Want to respond?

I got arrested for the cause folk's... Now I'm taking action. Please help me reach this target ASAP. It might just save me from going down as I plan to proactively help clean some of Harrogate's Graffiti for FREE in aid to get legal space. I plan on speaking with the council soon after I have notified the police of the clean up. I will probably get arrested again for removing it. hahha. Ah well it's one way to make em listen. All this is getting documented as the Big Bike ride is coming to town soon, I was merely highlighting that in this "Rich town" why is half of the town center and surrounding areas getting left un-maintained for years. (Asda bridge,broken bollards,open electric boxe's, dangerous pot holes which I almost felt like I should spray luminous yellow to alert people from damaging their tires) Now it needs tidying up and I will help, for legal space. I have many people on-board helping me out with this so if you also want to help pls take a mo and sign for me. #iloveart

It makes sense. Provide a place for artists to showcase and practice their skills. This will also give the council more leverage in contesting any claims that facilities have not been provided for people interested in this art form. Graffiti is growing in popularity and is no longer simply confined to streets and public places. It is becoming popular in many areas of design work, from personal properties to bars and nightclubs. Nurturing the interest and development of this industry could benefit Harrogate and the UK by placing its citizens at the helm of the budding industry.
