As a Harrisburg resident (and taxpayer) I would love to see ANYTHING to help combat the obesity epidemic! I, and several of my roller derby teammates, would be willing to contribute volunteer hours to this project.

children having something better to do then being on the streets drinking and doing drugs..we need things for our children and grand children to do.to keep them off the streets..

A skate park is necessary in Harrisburg Illinois! Growing up there as a teen we had nothing to do and there still isn't anything to do, or anywhere to go safely where teens can hang out with others. I know there are many VERY talented skaters in the area and this would be a great opportunity for them to express themselves, stay active and have fun in a good environment!

These kids perform this sport with their hearts and souls. Unfortunately, signs all over town prohibit them from skating anywhere, so they cannot practice or perform their sport without getting in trouble. Give them a place to show their talents!

Harrisburg needs a skatepark bad there are places to skate yes, however we are not wanted in some places o we get the cops called on us and this and that confrontations and just overall difficulties just participating in out way of life. make life easier for us and others nd bring the sport up and bring people to the burg! a skatepark is 100% necessary in my opinion and everyone i ask agrees
