Actually, the school has informed us that he was not in fact doing anything bad/shady behind the scenes... Additionally, we are unable to be "fully educated" upon why he was fired because they refuse to disclose why. (And his name is Harrel, not Harold.)

Before we become very angry about to injustice of firing Mr. Harold on such a short notice, I believe everyone should be fully educated on why he was fired. No one needs to get all riled up and angered towards the board when he actually could have been doing something wrong. I understand he was a good man with a good personality, but you never know what he could have been doing behind the scenes.

Listen I know mr. Harold and he is truly a inspirational man. The boards decisions to do this is truly insane the board has made the worst decision of their life. God must be upset with this. #bringhimback

The firing of Mr. Harrell would just make the school worse. The one person who really understands the students, and really cares about them being fired, is stupid.

I do not believe the treatment of Paul was deserved nor is it in any way “Christian”

Paul Harrell gave respect to all the people he talked to. He understood that student life matters and what we students think about VCS matters. I know the board wouldnt do that like Mr. Harrell did. I hope the best for VCS but as of now I cant say I would back the boards decision to fire Mr. Harrell so abruptly. Hopefully this petition will bring it to the attention of the board to be honest and clear with what their reasonings and thoughts about this situation would be.

I see this as a firing with little regard for someone who genuinely cares about the students. Firing him weeks before Christmas is especially frustrating. I see this as a budget cut rather than a necessity.

As an alumni I loved the time I was at VCS, it was a great 12 years. However, I also get to take a step back and see the school from an outsiders point of view. Mr Harrell does SO many positive things for the school and the students there, he’s a genuine caring CEO. Which, does not happen often. He supports student activities from sports to academics to even student activities outside of the school itself. A loss of Mr. Harrell would mean VCS would never be the same.
