Please vote to stop this. All Mr. Harper wants is to help the rich and big business.

I rely on this every month, as I am still a single mom trying to make it month to month and be the best parent I can. Please do not cut this service.

Low income families already struggle with the costs of living, it is not acceptable to make everything even more out of reach for these families myself included

Is Steven Harper that big an idiot? Many families like mine need this money to help with my kids needs

As a single parent working 2 jobs to make a life for my family, this will have a huge negative impact on us. All the benefits of this proposal are to dual income, mid to high income families.

as a single mom, I rely on this. If this was taken away, I would need a second job and that means less time with my son. How does that benefit?

The child tax benefit helps us pay for things we otherwise couldn't afford for our daughter. I'm sick of these attacks on the low income to middle class families. Mr. Harper, I will never vote of you.

This will hurt so many families, it is a terrible plan. There must be another way to achieve the goal they're aiming for.

Shave off the money distributed to the ones who need it most to better feed the needs of the ones who don't. Not a new idea, but a new way Harper is trying to do so. Thousands upon thousands of single parent or low income families depend on this child tax credit to get them through an already hard economy.
