The bridge needs to be replaced to allow access to Pages Wood from Harold Wood Park. This walk greatly helped me during the Pandemic Lockdown

We need a replacement bridge is it is extremely difficult to get into Pages Wood from the park due to the very muddy path. People with bikes, push chairs or less able would find it too slippery. The alternative route is only usable in dry weather.

Please bring back the bridge. I walk over to Pages Wood through the park every day and miss using this bridge.

I walked in the park recently and was disappointed that the bridge was closed.

The bridge is the primary link between the park and woods. It was part of our regular cycling/walking route and was always a busy link. Please reinstate the bridge link and help residents get back on track to promote health and well-being.

Having to walk through the meadow can be very muddy and very inconvenient. Please get this bridge replaced ASAP!

The bridge provides a vital link between Harold Wood Park and Pages Wood. The nearest alternative, 250 yards upstream, has no gravel or tarmac footpath access meaning that those more vulnerable in our community would be prevented from gaining access from one to the other . The Forestry Commission and Havering Council need to address this issue together urgently.

We used to use this bridge most days and, particularly when it is wet, we are finding it difficult to get into the park

this bridge needs fixing/repairing as you have walk further down and can get a bit wet and muddy and when you cross the other bride and walk round you have to climb over a style and it is harder for disabled, elderly, and people with walking disabilities and under lying health problems etc

The bridge needs repairing so that people from this part of the park have access to the walks, particularly for people with bikes. By the other bridge it becomes water logged and boggy and isn’t an option for bikes. Parking at the top of Pages Wood is a fairly steep Jill down and not really child friendly in the way back up whereas from this bridge, the rides are predominantly flat.

I go often walking in this park and so disappointed I cannot cross this bridge - this walk helped me so much in the lockdown and think the bridge breeds to be restored to enable people to enjoy the park

I fully support to have a new bridge for walking to pages wood from the Children Play Area side.
I also would recommend to have a proper metal bridge on this site. Hope Council would consider the plea from the Residents of Harold Wood.

My mum had a stroke due to her vaccination, she cannot manage hills, but the lower park of the wood had been very beneficial for her to get some good outdoor space and see and listen to the birds

This is vitally important for the local community who wish to access Pages wood and also for cyclists using the designated cycle route
