Harold Wood Park / Pages Wood bridge

Very important that this bridge is replaced so the whole local community can easily access Pages Wood from Harold Wood park

The alternative route available is very slippery and dangerous.

This bridge is greatly missed particularly for exercise by older people in the area

This is the safest and most direct ways to get into Pages Wood. It is used constantly to help people cross with physical and mental disabilities, to cross safety and get into the park. People with dogs and biking. This is a matter of urgency as it stopping us get into the park and preventing our daily walks. That boast mental wellness. Shame on you!

I regularly walk round the circuit of the park and Pages Wood in all weathers and often with my young grandchildren. The detour we now have to take due to the bridge closure has no defined path and is difficult in wet weather. I have also spoken to other regular users who walk there alone with their dogs that are comfortable to use the old route but now find the detour intimidating and isolated. Without access over the blocked bridge the area is in inaccessible and I think the Commission should give the replacement bridge the highest priority to enable this valuable community asset to be utilised.

The bridge needs to be repaired asap as an injury is bound to happen soon with people walking down the side bridge and on grass to get to the nature walk track.

This is a huge lifeline for some people I walk so much with my dogs and baby and I used this bridge every day to visit my parents in hall Lane a much safer route for us than going via the pathway on shepherds hill and hall Lane - we’ve all missed out!

With the bridge closed and winter coming there is an accident waiting to happen! I slipped recently on the other way to go you have put in place! Something must be done as it’s dangerous

Without the bridge, access to Pages Wood is cut off as the ground around the other crossing becomes terribly muddy. It is urgent that the bridge is replaced. What a waste of Pages Wood if most of the local community cannot access it!

Am missing access to the country park so few people go to the country park now such a shame as now country park not enjoyed by all as it should be
