Vital that we replace this bridge ASAP

This bridge is an integral link between different areas of Pages wood. The diversion currently in place is not suitable for wet or wintery months and someone is likely to have an accident using this route as the weather deteriorates. Cmon pull your finger out and get this fixed ASAP so that hundreds of daily walkers, runners, cyclists and other members of the general public can use the bridge once more, and fully enjoy Pages wood once more.

I use this park and the bridge a lot if I had young children with a buggy it would make the trip harder without this bridge this needs urgent action especially with winter coming

I use pages wood regularly to walk my dog as do so many other people, it really is a priority for it to be repaired.

It is appalling that the bridge is still yet to be fixed, it is stopping families, disabled people and many others from accessing Pages Wood. Is it really disappointing.

Unbelievable it’s not been replaced yet, what’s going on?

Surely, if it is beyond repair then it needs to be completely taken out and a new one installed. The area is a lovely nature walk which all members of our community are entitled to have access to. It is disgraceful that it has been left in disrepair this long!

This is very much needed for all people to enjoy both the park and pages wood. Without the bridge some residents will not be able to get Access to the other side. This needs replacing!

This bridge is essential for people to be able to access Pages Wood. Other points of entry into this area are inaccessible for most people. The bridge between Harold Wood Park and Pages Wood is a vital link for all the community so that everyone is able to enjoy all the benefits both the park and Pages Wood have to offer. It needs to be repaired as a matter of urgency.

The comments made by local people on this petition show the strength of feeling. It's all very well Forestry England adding new signage in Pages Wood but this is only cosmetic. Please Forestry England realise that your signage is useless if the local community cannot easily access Pages Wood from Harold Wood Park. This must become a high profile project for you. You rely on membership and community support - well please look after our community and replace this bridge without further delay

The bridge provides access for all, so needs to be replaced - this place was my go-to place to walk during the pandemic and I'm dismayed that it has been left in a state of disrepair for several months - funding needs to be released to address this

The bridge provides a vital link between 2 areas of public amenity. Each on it's own is valuable, but together the offer so much more.

This bridge is necessary to show our younger generation all the beautiful wildlife and foliage in this area.

The fact they're even contemplating not replacing the bridge is a huge disappointment. It provides essential access to Pages Wood for not only those with young children and elderly pets but also anyone less able bodied.
