Please sign this petition opposing the proposed drop off procedure at Harmony Elementary School. Currently, the proposed plan is to have children dropped off on Deer Crossing Drive and Galaxy Drive. Children will then need to either walk a block to get to school and be required to walk through a busy unmonitored parking lot or cross Rotamer Road. This will create unsafe neighborhood streets for the children who are walking to school, for those children being dropped off, and for neighborhood residents. There are alternative drop off plans that could be considered. One example may be the following: *The playground could be monitored earlier allowing the buses to drop children off right away rather than waiting, thus blocking the drive through. Other alternative plans can be developed.
