To The Cary Town Council,
As a Cary resident, I am firmly against the proposed DR HORTON development of the Herndon-Burt property (12-REZ-20) on Turner Creek Road & NC Highway 55.
- The proposed development is not in-keeping with any of the neighboring communities and does not satisfy Land Development Ordinance guidelines.
- The number of townhomes homes proposed, is at an unacceptably high density level, when compared to all the surrounding communities.
- The significant increase in anticipated traffic, represents a real and quantifiable danger to area residents, motorists, pedestrians, as well as the children, parents, and staff of Turner Creek Elementary School across the street.
- The Traffic Impact Analysis awarded failing grades and clearly illustrated the inability to remediate those conditions, given the proposed development density.

Reaching this level of support has been a long road and I am genuinely drained by the process. It is difficult to keep pushing when the opposition seems so immovable but your engagement proves that I am not fighting this alone.

Enough with the townhomes already. We are packed in like sardines as it is and traffic on 55 is a total nightmare.
GREED. Just pure greed. They dont care about the quality of life for the rest of us.
Turner Creek rd is way too small for this kind of traffic. Please listen to the people who actually live here.
DR Horton builds the same cheap junk everywhere. Keep our community looking nice.
Way too high density for this area. Keep it zoned the way it is.

My kids walk near that intersection and it is already a disaster waiting to happen. Do not approve this.
