A true Minnesota Legend that deserves to be honored in a special way. What better way than to have his image appear on a US Postage stamp and to be remembered by all true baseball fans.... Love YA Harmon!!!

Harmon was the first major league star in the Upper Midwest. At a time when sports attention still focused mainly on the east coast, Harmon became the face of a young franchise and a hero to many. In the backyards across Minnesota, every kid pretended to be Harmon. He knew he was a role model, and he embraced it.

Having Harmon on a U.S. Postage Stamp would be such an honor for him. I sure hope it happens.

I met Harmon as a child-he briefly lived in my neighborhood and my grandfather brought me to meet him. What a special man-he absolutely deserves a stamp!

Harmon was and is the foundation of the Twins and what it means to be the ultimate competitor. All the while doing it with grace, humility and class. All virtues that not only apply to sports but to life. We should all strive to follow his example.

Any legend that has an untarnished life should be recognized, not just for what is done on the field, but also what is accomplished off of the field.
