Please add your name if you would like to join the request that a gate be put up at the playground. An initial response about this request was that it was previously taken down as kids kept slamming the gate and getting fingers caught. Whilst this is not ideal, the argument can also be said that the risk of the kids running into the car park is quite high, especially if you have more than 1 child or baby to help on swings etc whilst the other runs out or if you are pregnant and cannot run as quickly as a 2 year old running after an escaped ball.
