It is the rational thing to do, rather than pile on everything in the same year.

I sincerely hope that some of the Board of Directors do more than just laugh at us as Larry Cohen does at the meetings..Hopefully he will come to the conclusion that we are as excited to have our building updated..maybe not as excited as he and Margot are, but we are coming from.different positions..Please do not look on us as enemies of the project,just hard working neighbors who want the best for our building..

This petition makes all the sense in the world. I had for weeks recommended that the decoration project and corresponding assessment be postponed but never received any sensible reply from anybody in the board. The repair project HAS to be the priority. Redecorating is NOT. Harborside 1208

I agree with the petition

It is very important that this is delay is achieved so that priority assessments can be paid, especially since we are forced to pay simultaneously huge special assessments without the association asking for a loan to facilitate these payments and dilute them in a reasonable time. This threatens the financial health and the financial security of our community.

HS-1610 - most prudent is to prioritize structural projects before embarking on remodeling Harborside’s common areas.

Let’s postpone the remodeling until we have paid for the structural projects.

Let’s be kind and understanding to our senior residents who are retired and on a fixed income

Delaying will only make, costs go up! This board deceptively pushed the expensive hotel looking decorating through without telling people the necessary costs for repairs. They also did not consider keeping our beautiful marble which would be less upheaval and cost much less for halls etc. What they are still not telling us is the big assessment after this for the insurance mishandling and phase two of repairs. It will be another big assessment. Lynn Hubschman

Agreed. But I think it should be delayed until ALL of the mandatory projects requiring assessing the owners have been fully completed and paid for.
