On May 28, 2016 4:00 p.m. EDT a tragic event occurred at the Cincinnati Zoo. The beloved Gorilla Harambe was tragically shot down when a women dropped her kid into Harambe's pit. Harambe was simply trying to protect the kid, but was murdered in cold blood. In honor of our mentor, role model and martyr, we the GCHS student body would like to commemorate his death with a simple act of making Harambe our honorary principal for just 1 day.
