Having public transportation in the east hants area, would allow more employment opportunities for the residents. It also allows independence for those without drivers licenses. It would reduce the congestion, reduce our carbon footprint, and encourage people to leave their cars at home.

I take the bus from the airport into the hospitals for work frequently. It is so wonderful to not have to worry about parking, etc. I would use it daily, except when I'm on call. It would be well utilized for sure!!!

When I was a teenager, I spent $15 one way to take a taxi from Milford to Elmsdale to work for $8 an hour, this isn't feasible especially with rising costs and disgraceful minimum wages. Public transportation should be available in East Hants because that would allow an opportunity for more people to able to work and help the community grow into something better plus reduce greenhouse emissions by needing less vehicles on the road.
