We are concerned about the proposal to convert Waseley Hills High School to academy status and do not feel parents have been properly informed or consulted. Academy conversion is irrevocable and will affect generations of children to come. We call for: 1. A pause in proceedings to allow for more meaningful consultation 2. An assurance that academy conversion will only happen with the support of a majority of parents 3. An open meeting in which speakers for and against academy conversion are allowed to put their views
