What are we trying to overturn?

We are trying to overturn and bring awareness to the unfair laws that are trying to keep the homeless population out of the streets without actual support for them. The homeless community have been brutally hurt and misjudged by police enforcement and people around these communities. These people have been wrongly accused of living in poverty due to certain stereotypes. With your help, we can bring awareness to this cruel and inhumane issue by signing this petition, showing legislators that this law is unfair for the homeless population. Our goal is to not just overturn the law but to also help the homeless with resources that can help them get off the streets, provide adequate shelter, and provide them with basic human necessities, such as clean clothes, food, water, and work-force training.
